Job Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager, own the integrated and overall solution delivery. And responsible to put forward approaches and to achieve this, need to collaborate with multiple internal and external (third party) teams as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Gather, clarify and document functional and non-functional requirements from client and internal stakeholders. Work with stakeholders on requirement prioritization, pruning and phasing where appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, other third party vendors and the customer in the delivery process to translate business needs into enterprise level solutions. Assess the total cost of implementation.
- Support and guide the team to design and develop the solution with necessary technical and functional guidance.
- Review design standards, quality control and test procedures to ensure the deliverables meet established design and performance goals
- Design and develop solution for RFP/RFIs & proactive proposals. Support client workshops
- Assist customers in the development of fully integrated systems and applications software
- Determine the availability and viability of third party components and services as needed
- Validates third party components comply with established core system architecture
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in Telecom domain in wide range of roles – Project Management, Delivery and Operations
- Have hands on experience in the BSS and/or OSS Platforms – CRM, Order Management, Enterprise Integration Platforms, Service Activation and Provisioning, API Gateway Integration and Billing platforms
- Extensive exposure to online/mobile self-service channels
- Demonstrated skills in Team Leadership, Coaching, Practice Development, Competency building
- Knowledge of Telecom industry best practices, future trends and design patterns
- Technology Skills Exposure (100% match not required):
- OS & Virtualization Platforms – Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE), Sun Solaris, HPUX, Windows
- Databases – Oracle, MySQL
- Programming Languages – Java/J2EE, JavaScript, PHP,
- Integration & Middleware – RESTful API Services, microservice, API gateway
- Web Application Servers – Apache HTTP, Tomcat, JBoss, Jetty, Web sphere, Web logic
- Ericsson CBIO or BSCS/EB exposure is must
