Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for BSS/OSS applications, new product features, and system integrations.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure applications meet all requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report defects using a bug tracking system.
- Able to defect triage for closure.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues from a testing perspective. (Preferred)
- Experience with Test Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) to automate repetitive test cases is a plus. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools is a plus. (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing, with a focus on telecommunications or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent qualification (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
