- Implements API management solutions using Apigee to include API proxies, security and analytics
- Design and support REST APIs using the API Management platform.
- Create REST API documentation
- Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications, etc. using the API management platform
- Knowledge of modern browser and Internet technologies: HTML/JS/Angular, CSS, JSON, Web Components, JavaScript libraries, firewalls, web servers, web proxy servers and more.
Responsibilities
- 4 - 8 Years of experience in Java along with advanced skills implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market leading API Management tools, Spring boot Micro Services and Hibernate.
- Solid knowledge of API, backend server components and performance optimization
- Knowledge about API design standards, patterns and best practices especially Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0, REST, SOAP, MQ, JSON, Microservices etc.
- Technical knowledge in a PaaS, SaaS and IaaS environment. Understanding of object-oriented programming including but not limited to PHP, NodeJS, Java, JavaScript
- Hands-on experience working with JSON, REST, SOAP, OAuth, and Swagger
- Experience in Telecom domain-related projects is a plus with Good Communication Skills
