- Technical and a deep understanding of Telecom domains BSS/OSS like CRM, Order Management, Lifecycle Management, Service Activation, Network Inventory, Service Assurance, Mediation and Provisioning systems are essential for success in this role.
- Product Lifecycle Management understanding in the Telecom predominantly in Prepaid, Postpaid and B2B segments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process and workflows in Telecom Prepaid, Postpaid BSS/OSS areas sales journey, order fulfilment, provisioning, billing and assurance.
- Should have worked on projects involving integrations between multiple components within BSS / OSS stack and also third-party components.
- Should have knowledge of cloud-based systems.
- Should be able to interact with business / product owners to understand the requirements, define user stories, explain the same to technical teams.
- Exposure to tools like JIRA for tracking, monitoring, reporting user stories / tickets.
- Mapping & analyzing As-Is process; New Process Modeling and developing To-Be processes.
- Oversee successful implementation/configuration of BSS/OSS product suite to customer account by closely working with business analyst
- Work collaboratively with internal resources keeping the best interests of the customer (technical support, engineering etc.) and meeting project timelines
- Participate in project planning activities, including defining detailed project tasks/activities
- Ensure 100% quality on each delivery using standard testing methods, validation, and user acceptance testing
- Translate the functional and technical requirements into business document. Responsible for preparing test scripts; training materials and maintaining required checklists
- Developing and documenting data workflows to deliver the required data flow
- Develop integrations with other products and internal systems and documenting the integrations and ensuring the developed solution is stable and maintainable.
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech or equivalent in any field
- Overall 8-10 years of experience with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong customer delivery, Implementation experience of business software such as Telecom BSS/OSS, Cloud Native Applications, SaaS applications is a plus
- Worked on any of the Software development projects, primarily in telecom software development (OSS / BSS)
- Onsite experience and interaction with customer is a plus
- Expertise in business processes, knowledge on system development, process improvements
- Experience with Cloud technologies
- Experience with MYSQL, Oracle and other relational database with good SQL, basic shell/perl knowledge and core Java (preffered).
- Knowledge of software development practices
- Expertise in gathering business requirements, process flows and use cases with modelling and mapping as-is and to-be business processes.
